iRobo.Activity.Replace Text

Replaces current text placeholder with another text in a Word Document.

     Note: 

         Before using Office Activities, check Office Automation prerequisites from Office Page.

                                                                                                               

Properties

Input

  • DocumentPath -  Enter Word Document path, including name and extension. (Mandatory)
  • Text -  Enter input text to replace. (Mandatory)


Misc                                                                                                        

  • DisplayName -  Activity header name.


Optional 

  • PlaceHolder -  Enter targeted text to be replaced. (Mandatory)


Optional Formatting                                                                                        

  • Bold - Get input of True/False.
  • FontSize  -  Get Integer value for font size.
  • Italic -Get input of True/False.
  • Underline - Get input of True/False.

                               

Steps of Using Word Replace

  1. Open iRobo Studio, and then open a new Workflow.
  2. Drag Replace Text Activity to the Sequence.
  3. Enter text to replace in Text field in Property Panel.
  4. Enter text placeholder to be replaced in PlaceHolder field in Property Panel.
  5. Click Save button from iRobo Studio Menu to save Workflow.
  6. Click Play button to start the automated process.
